Local Bakersfield Steel Warehouse is looking for experienced Warehouse Office Clerk. 

Temp to hire opportunities! 

Schedule: 3:00pm-12:00am Sunday-Thursday 

Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour DOE

Job Duties:

 •    Converts sales orders to pick tickets. 

•    Converts pick tickets to pack slips. 

•    Expedites unfinished orders to meet promised delivery dates. 

•    Prepares packing slips: listing items sold, amounts due and dates of shipment. 

•    Inspect pick tickets for processed orders and verify all instructions completed correctly. 

•    Adjusts inventory balances to reflect shipped orders. 

•    Examines outgoing packing slips to ensure shipments meet specifications. 

•     Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Job Requirements: 

•    Ability to read and write English.

•    Basic math skills

•    ERP computer experience preferred.

•    High School Diploma/GED

•    2 years metals experience
